Frequently asked
What is Monster-GPT?
Monster-GPT routes your question to one of 85 domain-expert AI personas — calibrated to the level of the best people in game development. Ask about rendering and you get a Technical Director. Ask about materials and you get a Look Dev artist. Ask about netcode and you get a Network Programmer. You just ask your question. We assemble the team.
What is a Forge review?
Forge is our adversarial AI code review system. It reviews your code the way a 20-year veteran Technical Director would — checking architecture decisions, performance implications, engine-specific patterns, and potential shipping blockers. Multiple models debate your code. Disagreement is signal, not noise.
Do I need my own API keys?
No. Monster Gaming works out of the box with included credits. At Pro tier and above, you can optionally bring your own API keys from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or any supported provider. Your keys, your costs, our infrastructure. We route, log, cache, and optimize — you keep your provider relationship.
What's the training data thing?
Every interaction on the platform improves the AI for all game developers. Interactions are anonymized — your proprietary names, assets, and code are stripped — but patterns, techniques, and outcomes are retained. This is the platform tax that makes the pricing sustainable and the AI smarter over time. It's why a studio joining today benefits from every studio that came before. Enterprise tier can opt out, but loses access to Monster-GPT's specialized models (BYOK pass-through only).
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No lock-in, no cancellation fees. Your game files and project data stay yours. The MIT-licensed tools keep working locally forever.
Is the free tier really free?
Yes. MIT-licensed tools you can download and run locally forever. No credit card. No signup wall. No time limit. The free tier is our front door — we want you to see what Monster Gaming can do before you spend a dollar.
